Prosthodontist - DDS, MSc. Dr. Luis Carracho

Dr. Luis Carracho graduated as a Dentist from the University of Lisbon - Faculty of Dental Medicine, in 2013.

After completing his DDS, he started his private clinical practice in Lisbon as a General Dentist under Dr. Lino Carracho. In 2014 he joined the Fixed Prosthodontics Department at the University of Lisbon as a monitor under Prof. Dr. Tiago Mourão.

In 2016 Dr. Carracho was selected as a resident for the Advanced Prosthodontics Specialization program at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, USA. This prestigious three-year full-time program prepares Dentists to deal with the most complex cases in terms of Oral Rehabilitation in the area of Prosthodontics, Occlusion, and Implantology.

During his stay as a full-time resident in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, USA, Dr. Carracho participated and lectured at several international congresses on the different topics of prosthodontics and dental implants.

In 2019 he received his certificate of Specialist in Prosthodontics - from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He also concluded the Master of Science in Prosthodontics (MSc) with the development of a research project in the field of dental ceramics.

Upon returning to Portugal, Dr. Luis Carracho joined the Institute as a specialist in Prosthodontics. His private clinical practice is dedicated to cases of complex Oral Rehabilitation in the area of Prosthodontics, Occlusion, Implantology, and Bone Regeneration. He always maintains a strong philosophy of proximity and monitoring of his patients at all stages of treatment.

Dr. Luis Carracho is also an international member of prestigious associations such as the American College of Prosthodontists - ACP, International Association for Dental Research - IADR, and the International Team for Implantology - ITI.
