They are indicated in situations such as:
- teeth with extensive restorations
- teeth submitted to endodontic treatment (root canals)
- worn or fractured teeth
- teeth with old restorations

Step by step
- Planning: all the data is collected. In this consultation, a digital scan or impression of the teeth is made to plan the temporary restorations and the desired esthetic/functional modifications.
- Dental Preparations and Temporary Crowns: teeth are prepared, and immediate temporary crowns are delivered. When indicated, the final mold or scan can also be performed.
- Cementation of the Definitive Ceramic Crowns: 7 to 10 days later, the final ceramic crowns are tested, customized, and cemented.
- Follow-up: 1 to 2 weeks later, a consultation for evaluation and control is carried out.
